‘The Mole’ outfit Primitives hires Magnify Media exec for third-party formats
The Mole distributor Primitives has hired former Magnify Media exec Emma Gosling to work across its third-party format slate.
Gosling starts today and will report into Simone de Pruyssenaere, director of sales & acquisitions at the Belgium-based outfit, which sells formats including 99 To Beat and Hotel Romantiek.
She joins following a seven-year spell at UK-based distributor Magnify Media, which was acquired by Plimsoll Productions in 2020.
Plimsoll was subsequently acquired by ITV Studios last year and the UK group has since moved Magnify into ITVS’s operations, with former CEO Andrea Jackson becoming creative director of factual entertainment at Plimsoll.
De Pruyssenaere said: “[Gosling] is a talented media professional with a deep understanding of our business. With her extensive network and experience, I am convinced she will be a great addition to our team and help us grow our business.”
De Pruyssenaere also previously worked for Magnify, before leaving last year to replace Siobhan Crawford, who stepped down in April as revealed by TBI.
