Apple TV+ orders Eugene Levy travelogue from ITVS’s Twofour
Apple TV+ has ordered ITV Studios-owned Twofour to produce a new travelogue show with Schitt’s Creek star Euegene Levy starring.
The Reluctant Traveler will follow Levy to some of the world’s most eye-catching hotels, with the former American Pie actor also exploring the surrounding areas and diving into local cultures.
Levy will exec produce alongside David Brindley, the former BBC commissioner who joined Twofour as chief creative officer in 2019.
The show is the latest factual addition for Apple TV+, joining shows such as Fireball: Visitors From Darker Worlds and Boys State.
For Twofour, meanwhile, it joins recent commissions including Million Pound Pawn, which was ordered by parent ITV earlier this year. The UK broadcaster’s commercial arm ITVS acquired Twofour in 2015. It was the distributor for Schitt’s Creek, which was produced for Canada’s CBC and Pop in the US.
