Shiver hires De Moraes after TwoFour exit
Shiver has hired the creator of The Choir and First Dates Ana De Moraes as group creative director, after her departure at TwoFour earlier this month.
De Moraes left her role as head of formats at TwoFour, which is now restructuring its development team.
She will work together in the newly created role with Shiver managing director Tim Carter.
The duo will set development strategy and goals for each of Shiver’s genre heads across entertainment, factual entertainment, documentaries and current affairs.
De Moraes joined the Twofour Group in 2016 where her credits included Second Chance Summer (BBC2), the forthcoming Change Your Tune for ITV and Make Me Younger for BBC1. She joined Twofour from the BBC where she was Creative Director of their former in-house development team ‘Development Central.’
Carter said: “I created this role to supercharge development at Shiver and harness the great creative talent in the business. Ana is an ideas machine, an original and surprising thinker with a talent for creating global hits.
“She brings an experienced eye on strategy and fantastic relationships with key commissioners. Her central role will become even more crucial as we grow our creative talent pool.”
