ITV Studios taps Silver Reel exec for global acquisitions

ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) has hired Silver Reel Partners’ Bea Hegedus as VP of global content for scripted.

She will work across ITVS GE’s wide range of international producers and clients, reporting to Kate Barnes, senior VP of global content, scripted and coproductions.

At Silver Reel, Hegedus was head of television, where she led the company’s scripted development and financing efforts.

During her career, she has worked in both creative and commercial departments, starting out in production and ultimately going on to hold a variety of senior distribution and financing roles at Pinewood Pictures, MTG and Fox TV Studios.

Hegedus also launched and became managing director of Lionsgate’s UK sales subsidiary, Debmar-Mercury International.
