Ben Silverman’s studio Electus has promoted international sales executive Cyrus Farrokh to VP, distribution, and concurrently sold 150 hours to broadcasters across Asia Pacific.
Former Shine International exec Farrokh joined Electus in May last year as executive director of international distribution and production, a role that handed in sales responsibilities in France, Italy and Asia Pacific, but has now bee upped following the sale of 150 hours of finished tape.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson-front reality series The Hero has gone to Australia’s Fox8, New Zealand’s TVNZ and Asia’s AXN, while 72 Hours has gone to TVNZ, AXN and Discovery in India.
