CJENM’s streamer TVing & Japan’s Wowow snag Swedish dramas

Threesome

Streamers in Japan and South Korea have picked Swedish dramas Threesome, Love Me and Honour.

CJENM’s TVing in Korea has acquired the trio as part of its global drama strategy, with the shows sold by its Nordic distribution firm Eccho Rights.

In Japan, Wowow has picked up blue-sky crime drama Hammarvik for its subscribers, having added fellow Nordic shows Honour to its slate last summer.

Threesome is produced by Banijay’s Yellow Bird and premiered across the Nordics on NENT Group’s streamer Viaplay in August. It has already been sold to Channel 4 (UK), Canal+ (France) and RTL (Germany).

Honour, meanwhile, is from Bigster and has sold into more than 60 countries, while Hammarvik is from Nordisk Film & TV and Love Me is from Warner Bros International. The trio also debuted on Viaplay.
