The slate has been selected by PlayKids curators to provide “content aligned with the concepts of cognitive development, education and learning,” according to Fernando Collaco, head of content management for PlayKids.
PlayKids app users will gain immediate access to the series in Portugese and Spanish.
“We are pleased to partner with PlayKids and offer audiences around Latin America access to educational content that gives preschoolers the opportunity to learn through interactive play, answering questions about the world around them in creative, energetic ways,” said David Hanono, general manager of sales and digital at BBC Studios Latin America/U.S. Hispanic.
“This deal underscores our content’s desirability and reputation for quality and aligns perfectly with our goal of making British content available wherever and whenever the consumer wants it.”
