Ex-Reef MD Hanrahan joins Tin Roof Media
Former Reef Television managing director Paul Hanrahan has joined another UK-based producer, Tin Roof Media, as group operations director.
The hire means UK industry veteran Hanrahan (pictured) joins the management team of Tin Roof subsidiaries Blink Films and Outline Productions.
He will oversee day-today operations and growth strategy across the Tin Roof group.
Former TwoFour Group CEO Charles Wace, 9 Story Media Group chairman Neil Court and Contender Entertainment co-founder Charles Ogilvie established Tin Roof in late 2015 with backing from Rockpool Investments. They quickly acquired Blink and then Outline.
Hanrahan left Reef in November 2016 after twelve years with the business, having overseen its sale to Zinc Media (then Ten Alps) a year prior.
He then went on to advise a number of small indies on financial planning and business operations after integrating Reef into Zinc.
He said Blink and Outline have “a reputation for making high quality, distinctive, original and innovative factual content” and both were in “an exciting period of growth”.
Blink co-founder Dan Chambers said Hanrahan would bring “a unique mix of production experience, strategic insight, great relationships with broadcasters, and unerring common sense”.
“His experience and smarts are a huge assets to the company as we grow to the next level,” added Outline MD Laura Mansfield.
