Raft of Secret Life of 4 Year Olds deals
The Secret Life of 4 Year Olds format has been picked up by broadcasters across Europe.
The format observes a group of 4 year olds in detail, showing how they play and interact with each other in a real nursery setting.
The show was created by UK prodco RDF, which is part of the Banijay Group.
Banijay’s distribution arm, Zodiak Rights, sells the show and struck the European deals.
France’s TF1 has ordered a local version of the show, as has its DTT spin-off net NT1. Banijay prodco KM will make the series.
In Spain, a local version has just launched on the Movistar+ pay TV service, with Banijay’s Magnolia on production duty.
Zodiak Belgium has also made a 6x35mins version for French-language broadcaster RTBF.
Zodiak Rights has also sold the finished UK series to Foxtel in Australia, BBC Worldwide in Africa, SVT in Sweden and Discovery Networks in Denmark, Italy and Norway.
RDF has created various guises of The Secret Life Of…, with The Secret Life of Brothers and Sisters going out on Channel 4. The broadcaster has also just ordered new episodes of The Secret Life of 5 Year Olds for 2017.
