Discovery streaming Queen birthday special

Discovery will stream Happy Birthday, Your Majesty, a birthday special for Queen Elizabeth II, ahead of the British monarch’s 90th birthday.

The factual channel operator has gained access to a section of Windsor Castle garden that will host a kids party attended by 100 UK schoolchildren.

Diane Louise Jordan (pictured) and Joe Crowley will present the show, which will be made by Discovery’s education unit.

The programme will be available free online on June 10, a day ahead of the Queen’s 90th.

Discovery said the interactive broadcast will help younger viewers understand the role of the Queen, and the important moments in her life and reign.

The show will be streamed live and then made available on-demand on Discovery’s website.
