The digital service will carry programming from five Discovery services: Discovery, Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, Discovery Science, and Discovery Velocity.
It will be available to authenticated subs via dedicated apps and the Bell Fibe TV, Bell Satellite TV, Eastlink, Shaw Cable, and Shaw Direct platforms.
Discovery said it plans to add 4K content to the Discovery Go line-up shortly. At launch, it has 4,500 hours of content and titles include Highway Thru Hell, Deadliest Catch and content from Shark Week. Discovery plans to increase the total to 7,000 hours by January.
