US network sitcom Friends will air on UK terrestrial Channel 5 for one day later this month.
The Warner Bros.-owned show will run on the network between 12pm and 5pm on September 21, as Channel 5 owner Viacom, which has rights to Friends in Britain, celebrates the series’ 21st
This marks the second time a UK terrestrial has aired Friends after Channel 4’s long association, which ended in 2011.
Friends was snapped up by Viacom-owned pay TV channel Comedy Central, and was recently renewed four another four years.
Friends follows a group of six New York pals who experience life together. The NBC series remains one of the highest-rating sitcoms on Comedy Central.
