eOne poaches Nerd Corps’ Reinseth
Transatlantic studio Entertainment One has poached Nerd Corps Entertainment’s Jillianne Reinseth.
The executive joins eOne as VP, creative affairs in its eOne Family division, which houses preschool money-spinner Peppa Pig, on March 2.
Reinseth previously held the same role at Canadian prodco Nerd Corps, and was has in the oast been VP, development at Cookie Jar Entertainment, which is now part of DHX Media, director of development at Studio B Productions and worked at Chorion, The Walt Disney Company and Nickelodeon.
At eOne Family, she will lead creative affairs and oversee linear content acquisition, development and production, while working closely with distribution and licensing and merchandising executives.
Reinseth had “extensive cross-functional experience with successful global brands in the family space and brings great relationships in the broadcast and creative communities in Canada, and around the world,” said Olivier Dumont, managing director of eOne Family and Entertainment One Licensing.
eOne Family counts Peppa, Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom and the upcoming adventure comedy brand Zak Storm on its books.
