Broadcasters buy Love for Sale

Several international broadcasters have acquired two-part UK prostitution documentary Love for Sale with Rupert Everett.

The doc is produced by Swan Films and is distributed by All3media International, which has a first-look deal with the UK indie producer.

It has been acquired by the Cielo pay TV channel in Italy, by cultural pubcaster SBS in Australia and by commercial free-to-air broadcaster TVN in Poland.

In Scandinavia, SBS and TV4 have both bought the two-parter.

In the doc movie actor Rupert Everett (My Best Friend’s Wedding) talks to sex workers and explores the world of prostitution, getting behind the well-worn stereotypes about the profession.
