Zodiak appoints French drama chief
Zodiak France has appointed Marc Nowak as chief operating officer, drama, in a move it said will bolster its scripted output.
Nowak will move from his current role at Zodiak as the Paris-based general manager of sales unit Zodiak Rights.
He starts in the newly created role on October 1 and will report to Zodiak France CEO Gaspard de Chavagnac, who joined the producer and distributor in March.
In the new position, Nowak will oversee business affairs for the drama department and coordinate development of French-originated projects.
He has been with Zodiak since 2002, originally as financial controller of its Tele Images prodco. Zodiak France’s scripted titles include upcoming Canal+ drama Versaille.
Nowak’s appointment is the latest in a series of changes at Zodiak France, which comprises the Marathon, GTV, ALP, KM Productions and Mona Lisa prodcos.
Edouard Duprey was recently appointed the company’s first-ever chief creative officer and Frederick Lacroix was hired as head of magazine and factual programming earlier this year.
