News brief: NATPE honouring Netflix’s Ted Sarandos

NATPE will award Ted Sarandos a Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Award at its Miami event in January.
The Netflix chief content officer will attend NATPE to collect the accolade alongside other – as yet unnamed – recipients.
NATPE CEO Rod Perth announced the honour for Sarandos yesterday, during a coproduction summit at NATPE Europe, which is taking place in Prague, this week.
NATPE Miami will run from January 20-22 in 2015. It has moved dates to allow buyers, sellers and content executives to be in Miami and then attend the RealScreen summit in Washington the following week.
