TwoFour calls on Metallica’s Hetfield for new History doc
The US arm of UK producer Twofour has secured a commission from cable net History for The Hunt, a doc series about bear-hunting in Alaska narrated by James Hetfield, the lead singer of heavy metal band Metallica.
The eight-parter will follow a group of hunters as they head into the Alaskan wilderness to hunt the largest land predator on Earth – the Kodiak brown bear.
The series is produced by Twofour America and debuts in a 10pm slot on Sunday, June 8 on History.
The channel is part of the A+E Networks group and its programme sales arm will handle international distribution of The Hunt.
