NATPE and Tandem join forces for copro summit

NATPE and Tandem Communications have joined forces to launch a new coproduction summit at the upcoming NATPE Europe market.

NATPE Europe is relocating from Budapest to Prague this year and the ‘Now, the Story Starts in Europe’ event will take place on the morning of June 24.

Addressing how the business is changing and how content companies can harness new opportunities, the summit will be hosted by Rola Bauer, president of StudioCanal’s Tandem Communications, the studio behind the coproduced procedural Crossing Lines (pictured).

Bauer said: “Central and Eastern Europe has thriving production and creative communities which enable us to produce exceptional programming without borders. I am delighted to help bring a group of experts together in Prague to share our experience, ambitions and challenges with NATPE Europe delegates.”

NATPE president Rod Perth added: “We are building an extremely high level panel which will reveal best practice for all facets of the international coproduction business and discuss how the multiple parts of the puzzle must fit to realize the best possible creative results as well as the all important return on investment.”

NATPE Europe will run from June 23-26.
