The deal with distributor The New Flemish Primitives does not include Belgium, where it has been airing on rival free-TV channels Een and VTM to primetime audiences often in excess of two million viewers (a 56% share, according to TNFP).
Shine France will look to create French-language versions of format, which TNFP has launched globally here in Cannes.
“We are very happy to have closed the deal with The New Flemish Primitives and are really thrilled to be working with TNFP on such an innovative, positive and unique format that matches Shine France’s values so well,” said Thierry Lachkar, CEO Shine France.
