Shine France to pit Channel vs Channel

Shine’s production arm in France has picked up exclusive remake rights for French-speaking territories to Belgian ratings hit Channel vs Channel.

The deal with distributor The New Flemish Primitives does not include Belgium, where it has been airing on rival free-TV channels Een and VTM to primetime audiences often in excess of two million viewers (a 56% share, according to TNFP).

Shine France will look to create French-language versions of format, which TNFP has launched globally here in Cannes.
