News brief: Discovery Asia picks up kids series The Fixies

The Asian feed of Discovery Kids has acquired animated series The Fixies.

The pan-regional deal means the series will go out across the continent. The 104x6mins series follows a group of kids who repair various devices and objects.

It is produced by Aeroplane Productions and sold internationally by Atlantyca Entertainment. Broadcasters including Minimax in Eastern Europe, Canal Panda in Portugal and D-Smart in Turkey have already acquired the series.
