News brief: Nick back for more Instant Mom

Nickelodeon has gone for a second season of family comedy Instant Mom.

Additionally, Nick’s president, content development and production Russell Hicks has ordered six more episodes for season one, bringing that to a total of 26 half-hours.

The multi-camera comedy stars Tia Mowry-Hardrict as a party girl who marries a man with three children. It airs on the Nick at Nite Suday programming block and on Nick Jr.’s adult-targeted NickMom block.
