Zodiak hires new entertainment VP

Zodiak Rights has recruited Andrew Sime as its new VP, entertainment.

Sime joins from Turkey-based distributor Global Agency where he was head of acquisitions.

In his new Zodiak role he will work with Zodiak in-house production companies and third party producers to develop formats with international potential. He will then oversee the distribution strategy of these titles via Zodiak Media’s production and distribution network.

He will report to Barnaby Shingleton, Zodiak’s head of entertainment who said: “He comes with a huge amount of experience and knowledge around entertainment formats and I know he’ll contribute very positively to our business moving forward.”

Prior to Global Agency, Sime was research and acquisitions Manager at 2waytraffic.
