Comedy Central adds another late-night talkshow

Comedy Central has ordered a 40-week run of @midnight, confirming it as the US cable net’s latest late night talk show.

The Chris Hardwick-presented and Funny Or Die-produced show launched on October 21 and will now get a full run in January.

This will partner it with Comedy Central’s top late night shows The Daily Show and The Colbert Report as the third in a trio of daily talk shows, going out at 12am.

Executive producers are Hardwick, Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant (Reno 911, Mike Farah and Joe Farrell for Funny Or Die, Alex Blagg, Jason Nadler and Jon Zimelis from prodco Serious Business, showrunner Jack Martin, and Alex Murray of Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
