11 Television adds another production exec

Canadian factual entertainment specialist 11 Television has tapped Primevista Television production boss Phil Hutchins to take a similar position.

Hutchins becomes VP, production, effective immediately. He will oversee all in-house productions and work out of Toronto, reporting to chief creative officer Kevin Healey.

11 Television is behind series such as Panic Button, Cover Me Canada, Destination Fear and Risky Business. The company also operates an LA joint venture, Essential 11 Television, with Australia’s Essential Media & Entertainment (Rake, Saving Mr. Banks).

Hutchins’ credits include producing The Next Star for YTV and working on Are You Smarter Than A Canadian 5^th Grader? for Global and Holmes on Homes for HGTV.
