News brief: Stilton smells right to ARD

German broadcaster ARD has acquired Atlantyca Entertainment-sold toon Geronimo Stilton.

ARD will run the show on its regional channels, including children’s net KiKA. The deal comprises season one of the show, which Atlantyca coproduce with Rai Fiction, France Television and M6.

Season two of the show launched in Germany on KiKA last year and also broadcast on ARD’s Das Erst programme block.
