ITV makes Selfridge sales as Breathless buyers await

ITV Studios has completed a raft of sales for its period drama series Mr. Selfridge.

The series has sold to TVE in Spain, HRT in Croatia, Czech TV in the Czech Republic, Planet TV in Slovenia and LRT in Lithuania; while The Masterpiece strand on PBS/WGBH in the US, Vision TV in Canada and Norway’s NRK have also picked up the forthcoming second season.

Thes comes after Sundance Channel acquired the series for Latin America and brings the total number of territories to have acquired it to more than 150.

This week in Cannes at MIPCOM, distributor ITV Studios Global Entertainment is launching another period piece to buyers for the first time, the Jack Davenport-starring ITV series Breathless.
