News brief: Teletoon buys trio of Halloween toons

Canadian kids and youth net Teletoon has picked up three animated specials that it will air in the run over Halloween.

Halloween Havoc, New Fears Eve and Pranks for the Memories all follow a group of monster kids trying to fit into a normal school. The shows are made by Vancouver-based Bron Animation and sold by Shaftesbury, which cut the Teletoon deal.

The specials are based upon a book series from Sean Patrick O’Reilly.

Debbie Macdonald, formally of Nickelodeon UK, was creative consultant to Bron on the property.
