DISCOP Istanbul launches hotel offer

Programming and acquisitions executives are being offered a three-night complementary hotel package at March 2014’s DISCOP Istanbul.

Qualified content buyers representing TV channels, pay TV operators and online and mobile distribution platforms will be offered the package if they register for the event by Friday, 8 November.

“This initiative reinforces our two-decade old tradition to thank content buyers for their loyalty, offer them a great selection of international content under one roof and host great parties and matchmaking opportunities,” said Rustam Kasymov, registration manager at Basic Lead, the company that operates the event.

DISCOP’s play comes as market competition in the Central and Eastern European heats up. Last week, NATPE confirmed rumours it was to move its NATPE Budapest event to Prague as of next year.
