Dailymotion adds Bollywood content

Video site Dailymotion has inked a deal with Indian movie company Venus for a selection of Bollywood movies.

Over a hundred Venus titles will be added to the Dailymotion site for free and the distributor’s premium movies launched on a paid-for basis.

Dailymotion already has Bollywood movies and content from suppliers including Yash Raj films, Dharma Films Hungama, Nirvana and Eros.

Marc Eychenne, head of EMEA content at Dailymotion, said: “Our new partnership with Venus will provide viewers with access to a wealth of new and classic Bollywood films, wherever they are in the world.”
