Jane Millichip joins Sky Vision

Sky Vision’s recruitment drive has continued with the hire of Jane Millichip as director of sales and global brands.

Millichip is in the final weeks of her current position as managing director of Zodiak Rights.

Her departure from Zodiak was announced late last year.

In the newly-created role at Sky Vision, the distribution arm of UK pay TV firm BSkyB, she will help develop compay strategy as it moves into new genres and works with new platforms.

Millichip’s recruitment follows that of Angela Neillis and Karen Wise.

Millichip will report to Carl Hall, managing director at Sky Vision.

He told TBI that the new team members will help differentiate Sky Vision from the competition and make it a more attractive potential partner for producers looking for a distribution partner.

“By hiring Jane and Angela Neillis, this sends a message to the production community that we want to build even stronger relationships with indies,” Hall said.

He added: “Our focus will be on providing a really compelling alternative to our competitors, based on experience and service. Producers working with Sky have choices about how they distribute their content, but we hope that they will increasingly see Sky Vision as a real strong option for their shows.”
