Lifetime launches ten original TV movies for Christmas

US cable network Lifetime is to launch fifty films including ten original television movies as part of its Christmas slate.

The broadcaster is to unveil ten Lifetime Original Movies featuring stars including David Hasselhoff, Mira Sorvino, Haylie Duff and Ralph Macchio as well as pairing Shelley Long and George Wendt for the first time since Cheers.

It’s A Wonderful Lifetime slate will run from early November through December starting with Hasselhoff’s The Christmas Consultant.

Other movies including All About Christmas Eve starring Haylie Duff as a New York city party planner, Finding Mrs Claus starring Mira Sorvino, Ralph Macchio’s Holiday Spin, Holly’s Holiday, Holiday High School Reunion, Love at the Christmas Table, The March Sisters at Christmas, Merry in Laws and The Real St Nick.

A+E Networks, the company’s international arm, will take global distribution rights to these original movies.
