Entertainment One buys Hockey Skates for MIPCOM

Entertainment One (eOne) Family has acquired the rights to holiday movie The Magic Hockey Skates and will be launching it at MIPCOM.

The kids and family division of the international distributor will begin shopping the animated special to global broadcasters in Cannes after striking a deal with Amberwood Entertainment.

The 2D special is produced for Canadian public broadcaster CBC with financial assistance from the Canadian Media Fund. It is based on a book and follows a young boy’s journey with the help of a pair of magical skates.
