Warner Bros. ups Jay Levine
Warner Bros. Television Group has upped Jay Levine to senior VP, business and strategic planning.
Levine has been at the studio since 2009 and will continue to report to Craig Hunegs, executive VP, Warner Bros. Television Group.
In his time at Warner Bros., he has been involved in deals including the multi-year output agreements with Netflix and Hulu for programming from The CW, a distribution deal with Amazon as well as WBTVG’s recent acquisition of Alloy Entertainment.
Levine also oversees the day-to-day operations of Studio 2.0, which develops original short-form programming for broadband and wireless devices.
He has previously worked at Disney and ESPN, having started out at investment bank Bear Stearns.
