Keshet launching dating series in Cannes after CBS deal
Israel’s Keshet Formats is bringing reality dating series Shalosh to MIPTV following its deal with US network CBS.
The US broadcaster is remaking the format – known in the States as 3 – with Magical Elves and 1492 Television’s Chris Columbus after CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler struck a deal with Keshet Broadcasting CEO Avi Nir.
The international arm of the Israeli broadcaster and producer, run by Keren Shahar, is keen to strike more global deals for the format, that follow three women looking for love, at the market.
The company is also launching a raft of new formats including musical talent series Master Class, docu-comedy format Dear Neighbors: Help Our Daughter Find Love and event gameshow 50 Things You Have To Know.
