Sat.1 picks up De Rijk’s You Deserve It

Dick de Rijk’s gameshow You Deserve It has found a home in Germany and has been sold across Italy and the Middle East.

The show has been picked up by German broadcaster Sat.1 as well as an unnamed broadcaster in Italy and a pan regional deal in the Middle East.

This comes after the show was acquired by US network ABC.

The format sees contestants competing for cash prizes, the twist being that the prize is not for themselves, but a friend, relative or associate who deserves the money.

You Deserve It is produced by Red Arrow Entertainment, the content arm of ProSiebenSat.1, and de Rijk, who have signed an overall deal. SevenOne International is distributing the show and it is one of the key format launches at MIP TV.
