DRG shops Peep Show to Hulu
UK-based distributor DRG has sold its comedy series Peep Show to Hulu. The sixth series of the comedy, which airs on Channel 4 in the UK, will be available on the US on-demand service.
Swedish free-to-air broadcaster TV4 has also picked up season six.
Meanwhile, DRG has cut several deals for the seventh series of the show, which launched in the UK last Friday. The ABC in Australia and Canadian specialty network Super Channel have picked up the new season.
Across all seasons, Peep Show, about two dysfunctional flatmates, now stretches to 42 episodes, making it the longest running sitcom commissioned by Channel 4.
Other international networks that have already picked up the series include BBC America, Turner Broadcasting Latin America, MTV (Poland, Finland, The Netherlands), NRK (Norway), Wowow (Japan), IRIB (Iran) and Fox International Channels (Africa).
