Eyeworks opens up shop in Switzerland
Producer and distributor Eyeworks has opened a Swiss office. It will be managed by producer Stephan Temp who will report to Eyeworks Switzerland and Germany boss Oliver Fuchs.
Eyeworks produces several shows for general entertainment channel 3+ including Bauer Ledig Sucht (Single Farmer Seeks), which caused controversy when FremantleMedia alleged it was a copy of it Farmer Wants a Wife format.
It also makes Bumann, der Restauranttester (Bumann the Restaurant Tester) and Die 10 (The Ten) for the privately owned broadcaster.
Fuchs said: “The decision for Eyeworks to open a local Swiss office was a logical one. We are excited to continue working with our clients and to have the possibility to further develop our position as an all-around television production company in the German-speaking territory.”
Stephan Temp added: “Switzerland is a quite challenging market with a great potential for Eyeworks. It is a great opportunity for me to lead the Swiss operation independently by developing and producing new and exciting formats from the strong Eyeworks catalogue.”
