Zodiak inks That’s My Kid deals
Zodiak Entertainment has closed a number of deals for its light entertainment format That’s My Kid.
Russian commercial broadcaster CTC and public broadcaster Egyptian Radio & Television are to make local versions of the show. That’s My Kid was created by Zodiak’s central creative team Zodiak Distillery and was launched at last year’s Mipcom market. The show challenges parents to prove that they know what’s going on in their kids’ heads and the parents that know their kids best will win a family holiday.
Matthieu Porte, head of format sales at Zodiak Entertainment told TBIvision: “That’s My Kid was one of the first shows to come from the central creative team Zodiak Distillery. We take it out to our local producers and they’ll roll it out.”
This comes as Zodiak launched 17 new formats at last week’s MIP TV including One World, a flash mob entertainment format produced by Zodiak’s Mastiff Sweden, Mastiff Denmark and Miami-based RM 5to Elemento, which is currently being piloted by Sweden’s TV4. The company is also selling series including Love Productions’ Channel 4 format Tower Block of Commons as well as long running BBC panel show Mock the Week.
