UK shows clean up at the International Emmys

The UK cleaned up at the 36th International Emmy Awards, winning seven of the ten available categories including best actor, best actress, best comedy, best documentary and best kids show.

The Netherlands picked up one award with Endemol scooping the best non-scripted gong with hoax reality series The Big Donor Show.

Meanwhile, Argentina and Jordan won their first ever international Emmys. Jordanian indie producer Arab Telemedia’s telenovela, Al-Igtiyah (The Invasion) triumphed in the telenovela category. Telefe Contenidos, the production arm of Argentina’s top-ranked broadcaster Telefe, bagged the TV Movie award for its Television por la Indentidad.
