America’s Got Talent on MySpace

Audition videos for the latest season of America’s Got Talent can be posted on MySpace for the first time.

The show’s producers, FremantleMedia North America and Simon Cowell’s SYCO Television, have teamed up with the social networking site to allow users to audition online.

A ‘virtual Audition City’ has been created and videos showcasing individual’s talent can upload videos of themselves between April 29 and May 5.

A virtual Audition City episode of the show will air on TV after auditions close and successful participants flown to Vegas to appear in the TV audition. In the US the show airs on NBC.

Fremantle brokered the deal through its brand extension arm FremantleMedia Enterprises.
