Jetix trials ad-supported online video

Pan-European kids broadcaster Jetix Europe is testing an advertising supported broadband player in key European territories. The player is accessed via local websites and shows exclusive clips, lasting a few minutes, from Jetix shows.

The service being trialed in Spain offers access to full length shows as well as clips. So far the trial service has launched in The Netherlands, UK, Germany, Israel, Spain, Poland, Italy and now Israel.

Jetix UK already has a presence on Google Video where a featured link takes surfers to a branded video page featuring three-minute clips from a range of Jetix’s top shows. It also links directly to the UK broadband player.
