Louise Pedersen returning to run All3 Int’l
Louise Pedersen is returning to run All3Media International following the exit of Steve Macallister.
The move sees Pedersen return to her previous role at All3 after a stint at Colin Callender’s prodco Playground in the UK.
She fills the role vacated by Steve Macallister, who exited last week, as first reported by TBI.
She spent a decade running All3Media’s distribution operation as managing director before Macallister was appointed as its first chief executive in January last year. Pedersen said today: “All3Media is a company that is close to my heart and I am really thrilled to be returning to the new CEO role at All3Media International.
“Jane and the All3Media team have added some exciting companies to the fantastic group of All3Media production businesses in the last 18 months and I am really looking forward to working with them all and bringing their shows to international audiences.”
Jane Turton, CEO, All3Media said: “The prospect of Louise returning to All3Media International is very exciting. Her knowledge of the international production and distribution market is second to none and that, coupled with her leadership skills and strategic vision make her a very natural choice as the chief executive of such an important and central part of the All3Media Group.
Before All3, Pedersen was at Carlton International. Speaking about her time at Playground Pedersen added: “I’d like to thank Colin Callender and the Playground team for giving me a wonderful opportunity to learn more about drama over the last 15 months and I look forward to watching their continued success.”
Macallister, meanwhile, plans to take the rest of the year off. All3 said after that he will take a change of direction, embarking on new ventures.
