E4, TNT coproducing comedic drama

The UK’s E4 and US cable channel E4 are coproducing a comedic drama about a group of young adults venturing across Asia.

The two broadcasters have commissioned Foreign Bodies from Entertainment One Television and Eleven. It will launch on E4 in early 2017 before debuting later in the year on TNT.

The show comes from Tom Basden (Plebs, Peep Show), who is scripting alongside James Wood (Rev), Loren McLaughlin (Shameless), Charlie Covell (Banana), Tim Key (Mid Moring Matters), Amy Roberts (Shameless) and Jonny Sweet (Chickens).

UK-based prodco Eleven has a distribution deal with eOne, which will sell Foreign Bodies internationally.
