All3Media launches US prodco with ex-Ryan Seacrest exec
All3Media has hooked up with former Ryan Seacrest Productions unscripted programming chief Heather Schuster to launch an LA-based unscripted formats business.
Schuster has become CEO of Morocco Junction Entertainment, which will focus on unscripted formats for broadcast and cable channels with a global edge. She her exited her role as senior VP of development and current unscripted at RSP last year to prepare the launch of her own company.
The company will be based out of All3Media America’s LA base, which UK-based producer-distributor All3 launched in December 2012.
All3Media America has quickly grown and now includes the US arms of All3 production companies Bentley, Company Pictures, ID-TV, Lime Pictures, Maverick, MME, North One, Objective, South Pacific Pictures, Studio Lambert and Zoo Productions.
Morocco Junction represents the first time All3Media America has launched a new production company, according to All3 CEO Farah Ramzan Golant.
“The ability of our US leaders to attract an enterprise such as Morocco Junction with the ambition personified in Heather, is a testament to the creative system of All3Media and its track record of accelerating high potential creative entrepreneurs.”
Schuster time at RSP leave her with credits such as Fox’s Dream Date, VH1’s Girls in the Game, Nickelodeon’s Go Viral, E! Entertainment’s The Wanted Life and Esquire Network’s How I Rock It.
Before RSP, she spent four years after Reveille (now Shine America), where she oversaw the firm’s unscripted team and exec produced Tabatha Takes Over for Bravo, Losing It with Jillian for NBC and Lifetime’s remake of All3 format One Born Every Minute.
“Heather has had incredible success with unscripted formats and is the perfect executive to launch and lead All3’s latest startup,” said All3Media America president Eli Holzman. “We look forward to supporting Heather as she continues to create and produce exceptional television.”
