Jordana HochmanITV America has named Jordana Hochman as executive VP and head of East Coast programming and hired Jason Carey as EVP and head of West Coast programming for US unscripted production wing ITV Creative.

The UK-based channel is expanding its in-house production group ITV Creative, which handles all production on ITV America shows from companies such as ITV Entertainment, Leftfield Pictures, Loud TV, Sirens Media and Outpost Entertainment.

ITV Creative has also promoted Tonko Soljan to senior VP of business affairs and hired Tennessee Edwards as executive producer of business development and branded content.

Hochman (pictured) and Carey, respectively, will oversee production of all shows, with East Coast-based programs originating from the company’s New York City officers and West Coast-based content from California.

Before moving to ITV Creative, Hochman has played several roles at Leftfield, Loud TV and Leftfield Pictures. Those companies were part of Leftfield Entertainment, which ITV acquired in 2014 and ultimately became part of ITV America.

Carey joins ITV America from Red Bull Media House where, as head of original programming in the US, he helped launch Red Bull TV, Red Bull’s global digital television network, and built and managed original programming, production and development teams in North America.

ITV America president David George, who took on his new role in June, said: “As ITV America has grown, we’ve looked to the industry’s most talented producers and executives to navigate an increasingly complex landscape that demands robust creativity on the programming side, and innovative solutions for production.

“Both Jordana and Jason have these qualities in abundance, and we’re thrilled that they are teaming up to serve our buyers and partners on both coasts.”
