Lionsgate inks new multi-year deal with current programming chief Lee Hollin
Lionsgate Television Group’s EVP of TV and head of current programming, Lee Hollin, has signed a new multi-year deal to remain at the US company.
He will continue to oversee a slate of around 20 scripted series across streaming, cable and broadcast networks, including Mythic Quest for Apple TV+, The Recruit for Netflix, Yellowjackets for Showtime, and the Power franchise for Starz.
The contract extension comes after Hollin played a key role in securing renewals for three shows, with CBS picking up Ghosts for a fourth season, Starz renewing Power Book III: Raising Kanan for season five, and ABC extending The Rookie to a seventh season.
Hollin, who reports to chair and chief creative officer Kevin Beggs, joined Lionsgate Television Group from CBS in 2018, where he served as VP of current programming, overseeing shows including Madam Secretary, Jane The Virgin and Criminal Minds.
“Lee has been a driving force in the success of our Television Group, parlaying his strong relationships and industry expertise into keeping an extraordinary number of shows on the air as long-running hit series,” said Beggs.
“He has played a particularly integral role in the successful growth of the Power universe. Lee is a great partner, a talented executive and a respected leader who will continue to be an important part of moving our Television Group forward.”
