Banijay Asia promotes Rajesh Chadha to scripted COO

Banijay Asia has promoted Rajesh Chadha to COO of scripted.

Chadha previously served as EVP & business head – scripted at the company and in this new elevated role will take charge of the development, production, and strategic operations of the scripted division.

He is a media veteran with more than 30 years of experience, with credits including shows such as Criminal Justice, Out of Love, Rudra, The Night Manager and The Trial. As a founder of IMRC Entertainment, Chadha has also produced fiction and non-fiction shows across Star Network, Sony TV, Zee TV & Colors.

Launched in 2018, Banijay Asia is a joint venture between Banijay and Deepak Dhar. It is behind adaptations of scripted formats including The Night Manager, Call My Agent Bollywood, The Trial (The Good Wife), Hostages and Fall, as well as originals such as Dahan, Matsya Kaand, Undekhi and Tribhanga.
