Data firm PlumResearch hires EBU’s Broughton

Data insight firm PlumResearch has appointed former European Broadcasting Union head of strategy Jonathan Broughton as its new research director.

Broughton is tasked with expanding the company’s analytics and insights capabilities in the entertainment industry, focusing on product development and strategic consulting.

He was most recently assisting EBU members through digital transformations and tech adoption to meet changing viewer demands. Before that, he founded Workshare Consulting and had stints at Media Business Insight and IHS Markit.
