France’s Kwanza appoints ZED alum Lucy Le Gruiec to head sales & acquisitions

French factual producer and distributor Kwanza has appointed ZED alum Lucy Le Gruiec as head of distribution & acquisitions.

Le Gruiec has spent almost 15 years working in content distribution, most recently as international sales manager at ZED, which she exited in November after seven years. During her time there, she put together financing for films and documentary series through international pre-sales.

Prior to ZED, he has held sales roles at companies including 100% Distribution, Novavision and Gaumont.

In her new role at Kwanza, Le Gruiec will be responsible for selling factual shows worldwide across genres including history, technology, science, nature and wildlife, travel, adventure.

Led by Benjamin Ternynck, the company has a 700-hour catalogue, with new and upcoming titles including Machu Pichu City Of Stone and The Pharaohs: Greater Than The Pyramids.
